Patty Andrews of Andrews Sisters has passed away. The lead singer and last surviving member of the trio died of natural causes at her home in the Los Angeles suburb of Northridge, family spokesman Alan Eichler says in a statement. She was 94.

Patty was the youngest of the singing group, which also consisted of LaVerne Sophia Andrews and Maxene Angelyn Andrews. She was only seven years old when the group was formed. Their song "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" became a hit in 1941.

Andrews Sisters separated in 1951 only to reunite a few years later in 1956. After eldest sister LaVerne died of cancer in 1967, Maxene and Patty continued to perform as a duo until 1968. Maxene died of heart attack on October 21, 1995.

Patty is survived by her foster daughter Pam DuBois, a niece and several cousins. Her husband Walter Weschler, who was the trio's pianist, died in 2010. A memorial service is planned in Los Angeles, and the date will be determined later. There's still no word whether Patty will be laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, California, where LaVerne and Maxene are interred with their parents.
