Rihanna proved she can do demure just as well as the next person as she slinked into a sophisticated but sexy number to launch her brand new collection for River Island.
The 25-year-old Barbadian beauty was in London to promote her new fashion collection for the high-street store chain.
But rather than flashing the flesh and wearing something daring like she usually does, she showed her new line might not be a reflection of her own wardrobe.

Showing off her slim figure in one of her own designs, Riri arrived at the Oxford Street store in a gorgeous, slinky black gown, paying homage to Angelina Jolie in the dress which came complete with a thigh-high slit and cut-out back.
She wore her dyed hair loose to one side and accessorised with blue talons, red stilettos and matching red lips.
Rihanna was later seen heading to the after party in a different outfit, this time wearing a white T-shirt with doubled-up jeans.
But despite the looks she displayed on the night being somewhat modest compared to her usual attire, she claims she designed the collection based on her own tastes.
‘Britain has the most fashionable kids in the world. These kids inspired the high-end designers, they say what’s cool,’ Rihanna told Grazia magazine.
She continued: ‘I designed every single piece in the collection so I could wear it.
‘I think my fans trust my style so they’ll have fun with it.’
Showing she was excited to be involved with the fashion line, she tweeted last night: ‘In London launching my #RihannaForRiverIsland collection tonight at Oxford Street! #phuckyoclothingline.’
