Justin Bieber's Manager Reportedly Wants Singer to Drop Lil Twist After Battery Accusation

Justin Bieber apparently is asked to sever ties with one of his good friends, Lil Twist. Bieber's manager Scott Braun reportedly wants the 19-year-old pop star to stay away from the rapper because the latter keeps bringing Bieber's name down with his antics, such as his recent battery accusation which allegedly was done in Bieber's home.

TMZ reported that Bieber did not want to cut ties with Twist, but Braun insisted. Bieber's manager allegedly told the singer that Twist did no good to him and he needed to drop the rapper before he makes more damage. Braun and Twist are said having a huge argument on Thursday, August 1, in which he apparently said Twist had to go.

Bieber's name has been linked to negative headlines several times because of Lil Twist. In May, Twist was pulled over by a police officer after speeding in Bieber's white Ferarri around Calabasas gated community. The rapper, however, was released with a warning.

In July, he got arrested with the suspicion of driving while high with marijuana. At that time, he was driving Bieber's Fisker Karma. Originally, he was pulled over for speeding, but the police officer found a lit blunt in the car. He was released after 8 hours in custody.

The young rapper recently was accused of roughing up a woman at Bieber's house. The woman claimed that Twist grabbed her arm forcefully on August 1, when she attempted to leave the building. Twist denied the allegation via a representative, saying that he "was not involved in any battery. He asked the guest of a third party at the home to leave, and security escorted the guest from the premises after the guest became disruptive." The police are currently investigating the case.
