Iron Butterfly's bassist Lee Dorman has passed away. He was found dead
by cops at his home in Orange County, California on Friday, December 21,
 sitting in his car.
The musician, who reportedly had history of heart problems, is believed
to have been died of natural causes as police did not suspect any foul
play. He was 70.
Lee joined Iron psychedelic rock band Iron Butterfly in 1967 and took
part in recording the band's biggest hit "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" that has
sold over 30 million copies. The group underwent changes in the lineup
over the years with drummer Ron Bushy becoming the longest tenure.
Lee died less than a year after fellow on-off bandmate Larry "Rhino"
Reinhardt died. The guitarist passed away on January 2 this year at the
age of 63, due to cirrhosis of the liver.
