Nicki Minaj has had one of the most intriguing rises to success in music history.  Within a span of five years, the Queens-bred rapper went from rapping on DVDs to performing with Madonna at the Superbowl with new ASSets anda new pop style.
Nicki showed her ability to "brand" herself by blending street smarts and her pop appeal into fragrance sales, soft-drink endorsements and chart-topping singles.   Mostly thanks to Weezy and the YMCMB fam.
And with a high profile gig on one of the most successful shows in television history, "Amercan Idol," Nicki's sure to remain supreme as the King Barb in 2013.  Whether we love it or not...
