Angelina Jolie Beats Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart As Highest Paid Actress

Angelina Jolie hasn't been in a movie for three years yet the actress is still Queen of Hollywood. With paychecks totaling $33 million, Jolie was the highest earning female star of 2012-2013 according to Forbes.

Jolie, 38, beat out runners-up Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart for the top spot on Forbes' annual list of Hollywood's Highest Paid Actresses.
Mom to six children, Jolie commands top dollar even after publicly announcing she had undergone a double mastectomy in order to head off a gene that could potentially give her breast cancer. Analysts wondered how the move would affect her career. The answer: not at all.
The biggest chunk of Jolie's earnings come from the upcoming Disney movie Maleficent, a reimagining of Sleeping Beauty that Jolie signed on to for $15 million. The film hits theaters in 2014.

The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence, however, poses a serious threat to Jolie's title in the coming years. Lawrence is second on the list after making $26 million from June 2012 to June 2013.
The 22-year-old actress was paid just $1 million for the first Hunger Games film, but after the franchise's stunning success (and an Academy Award for her performance in The Silver Linings Playbook) Lawrence was able to get a much bigger check for the second movie.
Kristen Stewart lands at third place with $22 million. The hefty sum reflects her final haul for The Twilight films, and industry analysts predict she will fall off the top ten next year.
Rounding out the top five highest paid actresses are Jennifer Aniston with $20 million, and Emma Stone with $16 million.
